Support residents at The Meadows Long Term Care Facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse. This role prioritizes medical care and emotional support while emphasizing leadership among team members.

The successful candidate will be a licensed LPN in Nova Scotia, available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. With a focus on resident-centered care, you will collaborate with neighborhood teams to ensure high-quality services. Your leadership will play an essential role in guiding a multidisciplinary team and enhancing the well-being of elderly clients, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily medical care to residents
• Mentor and guide certified care assistants
• Administer medications following protocols




• Encourage a positive environment for both residents and staff
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:
• Must hold a valid LPN license in Nova Scotia
• At least 6 months of nursing experience required
• Willingness to obtain certification in CPR and dementia care
• Robust communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
