Must Have Skills good years’ experience in QA testing automation, with at least good years within Banking or Capital Calculations




good years strong hands-on experience with Basel III regulatory reporting
Strong understanding of financial products, risk metrics, and regulatory calculations
valuable years extensive experience in data-centric QA automation and validation
good years advanced SQL experience (joins, subqueries, aggregations, performance tuning)
Nice-To-Have Skills Experience as a QA Lead having led at least 1 automation project
Solid experience validating large regulatory and financial datasets
Ability to automate QA testing using Python
Experience using GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development and automation
Defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
Soft Skills Roles and Responsibilities: Typical Day in Rol ePerform end-to-end QA and data validation for Banking and Capital Calculations regulatory reporting systems
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for Basel III and OSFI regulatory reports including BCAR, NCR, Pillar III and LRR
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex financial and regulatory datasets
Perform data-level QA using complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target mappings and calculations
Collaborate with business analysts, regulatory SMEs,



data engineers, and developers to understand regulatory logic and testing requirements
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring regulatory compliance
Participate in regulatory audits, reviews, and validation exercises Automate regression and data validation tests using Python-based frameworks (where applicable)
Leverage automation tools and GitHub Copilot to improve QA productivity and coverage
Ensure alignment with data governance, controls, and regulatory change management processes
