In the role of General Duty Nurse, you will assess patient needs and implement care plans, while educating patients and their families. Effective communication is key, and you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive records of care provided. Engage actively in the mentorship of recent nursing staff while contributing to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute patient care through established nursing plans
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members
• Document nursing observations and interventions
• Facilitate patient and caregiver education sessions
• Support the training of new nursing staff and students
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNP required
• Recent experience in related clinical areas preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Physical ability to carry out job responsibilities
