Role Description
The Sales Assistant is a full time, on-site role based in New Westminster, BC. This role is responsible for welcoming customers, offering personalized product recommendations, and providing exceptional in-store service that reflects Aromatica’s brand values. Day-to-day tasks include engaging guests in scent discovery, explaining fragrance notes and collections, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, visually appealing retail environment. The Sales Assistant will also restock shelves, organize displays, support inventory counts, and assist with in-store events or promotions.



Collaboration with the retail team to meet sales targets and contribute to a warm, inclusive customer experience is essential.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport, understand needs, and create welcoming, inclusive experiences.

Clear and professional communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain product features and fragrance stories.

Sales skills and a results-focused mindset, with the ability to recommend products, handle objections, and support achievement of store targets.

Organization skills to manage stock, maintain displays, and handle multiple customer interactions efficiently.

Interest in fragrance, fashion, or beauty retail and willingness to learn about Aromatica’s collections and brand story.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks associated with retail work.

Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an asset.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
