As an Occupational Therapist, your role will require a minimum of two years of experience in supporting mental health clients, with a focus on assessments and treatment planning. You'll lead psychoeducation groups and collaborate with healthcare teams on complex cases including those involving preparation for return-to-work. Your reporting and coordination efforts will ensure client progress is well managed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized occupational therapy sessions
• Participate in multi-disciplinary case consultations
• Conduct mental health assessments and risk evaluations
• Facilitate groups on various therapeutic techniques
• Complete session documentation and reports promptly
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• At least two years in a clinical mental health role
• Active occupational therapy registration
• Competence in EMR and Microsoft Office tools
• Relevant trauma therapy training is an asset
