As a CAF Chaplain, you will work closely with personnel from the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, and Canadian Air Force. You will be responsible for providing compassionate guidance, supporting ethical discussions, and engaging with community faith leaders. This position also entails advising command on spiritual matters and delivering services during key events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide an active, supportive presence to military members
• Officiate at services and significant military ceremonies
• Counsel on spiritual and ethical dilemmas addressed by the chain of command
• Engage with local faith leaders to foster community relationships
• Refer members to skilled support services when necessary
Requirements:
• Ordained or mandated by a recognized Faith Tradition
• Hold a Graduate-level degree in Faith Tradition formation
• Minimum of two years in supervised leadership roles
• Successfully complete military training protocols
• Maintain endorsement from the Interfaith Committee
