Reporting to the Health and Safety Training Supervisor, you will apply your expertise to train and assess mobile equipment operators and mill personnel. This role requires at least five years of experience in similar training roles and a focus on improving operator skills through effective program development. Your interaction at all organizational levels will secure compliance with safety regulations and training standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide training for operators to ensure competence
• Maintain accurate training and competency records
• Develop and revise training materials and SOPs
• Support ongoing safety and operational improvements
• Lead training sessions and coaching programs
Requirements:
• Five years of experience in surface/mill operations
• Relevant instructional certification like Train-the-Trainer
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
