Elevate your construction expertise as a Quality Control Technologist within a major Oil and Gas client. This 1-year contract role focuses on monitoring mine earth structures during construction.
The Construction Quality Control Technologist will report to the Geotechnical Operations Support team. This position requires effective communication with Mine Operations and adherence to Quality Management Systems and Protected Operating Procedures. Daily visual inspections and soil density testing will be crucial for supporting construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams
• Implement IFC drawings and Quality Management System
• Conduct daily inspections of mine earth structures
• Perform in situ soil density testing as needed
• Compile and upload daily construction reports
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year in construction quality control
• Technical diploma in relevant engineering field
• Valid class 5 Driver's License with clean record
• Ability to carry 50 lbs over rough terrain
• Willingness to engage in a Fly-In/Fly-Out program
