As the Executive Director of Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Relations, you will directly report to the Chief Strategy, Governance and Risk Officer. Your role entails developing a comprehensive communications strategy and managing stakeholder engagement across Health PEI. Your expertise in public affairs and media relations will safeguard public trust while promoting “One Island, One Health System”.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead Health PEI’s communication strategies
• Collaborate with CEOs and Board to align with strategic goals
• Provide oversight for stakeholder relations and communications division
• Manage public communications during critical healthcare changes
• Analyze public and clinical environments for emerging issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or communications
• Over 5 years of senior leadership in healthcare systems
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Proficient understanding of healthcare regulations and policies
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
