As a Physician Assistant in Pediatric Ambulatory Surgery, you will collaborate with the Pediatric Plastic Surgeons, ensuring continuity of care and effective clinical protocols. This role demands at least two years of advanced Plastic Surgery experience, strong assessment skills, and proficiency in managing pediatric patients. You will be actively involved in various clinics, including burn and cleft lip and palate, where your expertise will make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Pediatric Plastic Surgeons
• Facilitate clinical protocols and continuity of patient care
• Manage patient assessments and education effectively
• Order diagnostic tests and prescribe medications
• Engage in research and educational activities with trainees
Requirements:
• Graduate of Physician Assistant Program
• Minimum two years in Plastic Surgery or Pediatric Acute Care
• Proficient in assessments for pediatric patients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in high-stress decision-making environments
