As a Frontline Support Worker at KWS, you will play a crucial role in providing women and their children with the resources and support they need to escape domestic violence. Your responsibilities will include intake processing, safety planning, and emotional support, all aimed at creating a safe and supportive setting at our Transition House.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming calls and provide support
• Admit women and assess risk upon their arrival
• Facilitate de-escalation of conflicts among residents
• Complete essential household responsibilities
• Document case notes and liaise with service agencies
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma with one year of experience
• Intermediate First Aid certification needed
• Must pass a Criminal Records Check
• Required membership in the Union
