Ancestry is hiring a full time Archival Digitization Specialist in Denver, CO, for a pivotal project role. Contribute your detail-oriented skills to digitize key historical documents.

In this contract-based position, you will focus on capturing digital images and performing quality audits to ensure accuracy. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, for about 2.5 to 3 years under the guidance of the Senior Imaging Manager. Attention to detail and independence are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Capture specified digital images of archival documents
• Conduct quality audits for scanned documents
• Log progress and quality data into spreadsheets
• Manage the delivery of images to corporate headquarters
• Perform regular maintenance tasks on digitization equipment

Requirements:
• Experience with archival processes and digitization
• Background in Libraries, Archives, or History
• Proficiency with scanning and editing equipment
• Capable of creative problem-solving for projects
• Strong organizational skills in project management
