What we are hiring for:
We are currently hiring multiple call-in Direct Support Professionals for our locations across Lambton County.
Providing support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community
Teaching and assisting with daily supports (ex. assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, appointments, housekeeping responsibilities and money management)
Facilitating opportunities for individual skill development, independence, personal growth, cultivating relationships in their community and leisure activities as directed by the person
We provide supports in: Alvinston, Brigden, Corunna, Forest, Petrolia, Sarnia, Oil City, Oil Springs, Watford and Wyoming.
We are also accepting applications for one-to-one support through Passport.
What you will need:
Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle
Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Current certification in First Aid/CPR required
Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset
Compensation and scheduling:
$23.59 - $24.28 per hour based on experience
Call-in - not a set rotation
Scheduled a mixture of days, afternoons, and weekends
Opportunities to pick up additional hours (up to 44 hours per week)
