Join the Town of Banff’s Streets Department as a Labourer, focusing on snow and ice management on key streets. Ensure safety and accessibility for all during winter months.

This role is crucial for maintaining Bear Street, Caribou Street, and critical intersections throughout Banff. You will operate specialized equipment and tools to clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, and public amenities. Safety training will be provided, ensuring secure work practices align with Town of Banff’s commitment to safety and service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clear snow and ice from public spaces effectively
• Operate hand tools and light equipment as needed
• Maintain high-priority areas for safe access
• Complete assigned Streets-related tasks as required
• Follow safety protocols consistently

Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to work in extreme winter conditions
• Experience with Bobcat or Toolcat preferred
• First Aid certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
