Job Title: Appian Technical Lead Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Minimum 3 Days/Week Onsite Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full time Job Description We are seeking an experienced Appian Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Appian solutions supporting digital transformation and platform modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian architecture, workflow automation, integrations, performance optimization, security, governance, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities Define Appian architecture standards, design patterns, reusable components, and development best practices Lead the design and development of scalable Appian applications, workflows, and business processes Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Appian development teams Design and implement integrations between Appian and enterprise systems including OnBase, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and databases Ensure application security, data integrity, scalability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards Establish development governance, CI/CD practices, deployment standards, and release processes Review and approve solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and complex issue resolution Drive adoption of reusable components and Appian platform best practices Support solution delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, and production Identify technical risks, dependencies,



and opportunities for platform improvement Required Qualifications 10+ years of total IT experience 7+ years of application development and solution architecture experience Strong hands-on expertise in Appian design, development, and architecture Experience with workflow automation, case management, and business process design Strong experience with Appian integrations including REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and databases Experience with relational databases and data modeling Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization Experience with Dev
