Support the Métis Nation’s legislative efforts as a Policy Analyst focused on committees in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This full time role emphasizes non-partisan policy, research, and meeting coordination to enhance governance.
The Policy Analyst position is a permanent role within the Policy and Self Determination department. You'll assist the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly (MNLA) and Provincial Métis Council (PMC) committees, providing essential procedural and administrative support. Key tasks include coordinating meeting logistics, preparing documentation, and tracking committee decisions and actions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide policy and procedural support to committees
• Research and analyze legislative matters and resolutions




• Prepare documents such as agendas and minutes
• Track committee decisions and action items
• Liaise with elected officials and community members
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• 2-3 years of experience in legislative services
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
• Valid driver’s license and access to transport
