- Serves patients bypreparing medications, giving pharmacological information to themultidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring patient drugtherapies

- Monitoring customers'drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customersof any potential side effects

- Organize the pharmacyin an efficient manner to make the identification of productseasier and faster

- Prepares medicationsby reviewing and interpreting physician orders anddetecting therapeutic incompatibilities

- Providingimmunizations, and other medical services, such as taking bloodpressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugarlevels

- Completes pharmacyoperational requirements by organizing and directingtechnicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labelingof pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, andinspections

Requirements

- Excellentcommunication skills with a customer orientedapproach

- The ability tounderstand customers, medical staff, and coworkers

- Detailedunderstanding and knowledge of dosage requirements andadministration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceuticalbrands

- The ability tosolveproblems and weigh the merits of different possiblesolutions

- Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Suite and software applications, used bypharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Mediware

- Great organizational skills
