In this full-time position, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. As a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, your seasoned legal expertise will guide the institution through strategic risk management and compliance while advising the Board. Your focus will include oversight of the Bank's legal portfolio, relationship management with external counsel, and ensuring corporate governance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel on banking law and regulatory compliance
• Develop enterprise-wide legal strategies aligned with business goals




• Serve as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors
• Oversee litigation and external legal relationships
• Manage compliance with federal and provincial regulations

Requirements:
• LLB or JD degree with Canadian law society membership
• Minimum 10 years of progressive legal experience
• Experience in financial services legal leadership roles
• Robust communication skills for non-legal audiences
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters
