Mountview Elementary is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support K-5 students in a 30-hour weekly role. This temporary position focuses on creating positive educational experiences through teamwork and inclusive practices.

Starting from August 24, 2026, and concluding on November 6, 2026, this role plays a vital role in supporting students as they navigate their learning journeys. The ideal candidate will have an Educational Assistant Certificate, experience with Autism, and a commitment to fostering strong relationships with colleagues and students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in grades K-5 with learning activities
• Build and nurture positive relationships with students
• Collaborate closely with speech pathologists and therapists




• Facilitate inclusive educational opportunities for all students
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Requirements:
• Valid Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
• Experience with special educational needs and Autism
• Strong cooperative skills with team members
• NVCI or SIVA certification is a plus
• Must undergo a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
