This role involves managing essential systems like high-pressure boilers, water treatment, and compressed air controls. Working closely with maintenance teams, you will ensure protected operational protocols are followed throughout all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment safely
• Control water filtration and treatment systems effectively
• Oversee compressed air systems and standby generators
• Guide maintenance staff in powerhouse operations
• Maintain compliance with engineering regulations
Requirements:
• Possess an Ontario Second Class Operating Engineer Certificate
• 5-8 years of job experience in an industrial background
• Comprehensive understanding of operational regulations
• Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
• Adaptability to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
