Be an integral part of BC Hydro’s Environment team as a Regulatory Advisor. Provide critical support for environmental compliance and regulatory processes on capital projects.

This full-time role requires you to oversee the submission and quality assurance of permit applications for BC Hydro’s capital projects, collaborating closely with both Environmental Work Package Managers and Indigenous Relations teams. You will also prepare consultation reports, track performance metrics, and manage documentation across projects. Your role will involve proactive communication within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure regulatory commitments are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Track and coordinate permit applications and approvals
• Develop templates and review documents for compliance




• Ensure internal regulatory reporting is organized
• Facilitate communication with Indigenous Relations
• Analyze key performance indicators for reporting

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environment or a similar field
• Minimum four years in a regulatory setting
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Experience with visual presentation development
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
