BD Diesel Performance is looking for a Transmission Technician I to join its Transmission Department. This Monday to Friday role runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Engage in hands-on tasks like core inspection, teardown, and transmission finishing while continually developing your skills under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute parts cleaning and transmission teardown tasks
• Inspect and prepare surfaces for assembly
• Paint casings and package completed transmissions
• Mentor and train junior team members as required
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Mechanical aptitude and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to manually lift up to 49lbs
• Proficiency with basic hand tools in production environments
• Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential
