Qualifications 8+ years of experience working in web application development.

Solid foundations in back-end development, with hands-on experience using Python.

Some front-end development experience, using modern Javascript frameworks like React.

Experience using CI/CD pipelines and automated build or deployment workflows.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or other similar tools.

Experience collaborating with product managers to shape and refine work for other engineers to execute.

Experience mentoring junior engineers.

An ability to balance the desire to ship code quickly to our customers with the responsibility of making good technical decisions. A long-standing habit of continuous learning and applying new technologies, architectures, and methodologies to improve the code and Engineering organization.

Additional Skills Containerization or infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar.

Designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Test-Driven Development or other test-first approaches.

Event Driven Architectures.

Domain-Driven Design development.

Any experience in payments, fintech, or working with the Stripe ecosystem.
