Become a vital part of Mara Surgical Centre as a Post Anesthesia Recovery Nurse in Point Edward, Ontario. Focus on monitoring and caring for patients immediately after surgery.

This casual role centers on providing critical post-anesthesia care in the recovery room. You will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, assessing patients’ recovery, and coordinating with surgical teams to promote effective transitions to recovery. The role requires excellent assessment skills and a commitment to patient safety in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients’ vital signs immediately post-op
• Assess and manage pain and consciousness levels
• Administer prescribed medications as directed




• Provide documentation of patient care and interventions
• Educate patients about post-operative recovery steps

Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario
• Required certifications in CPR/BLS and ACLS
• Experience in PACU, ICU, or perioperative nursing
• Solid assessment and communication capabilities
• Dedication to safety and infection control practices
