Join 360°kids as a Child Welfare Worker to provide essential support services for vulnerable youth in York Region. Your role will center on mentoring and life skills coaching.
This contract position lasting until December 2026 is dedicated to supporting marginalized youth through a wealth of resources. You'll work closely with the community to implement impactful programming while promoting an inclusive and protected atmosphere for engagement. Fostering relationships and advocating for at-risk youth are key elements of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hands-on life skills support and mentoring
• Coordinate youth activities and life skills programming
• Promote community collaboration with partners
• Document daily activities and youth progress
• Provide informal counseling to youth in need
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related field
• Three years' experience working with at-risk youth
• Current WHMIS and safe food handling certification
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
Support the community and uplift youth through effective advocacy and hands-on mentorship.
