Amrize is looking for a Formwork Carpenter for infrastructure projects in Burnaby, British Columbia. This full-time role involves essential skills in concrete work and safety adherence.
As part of Amrize's Vancouver operations, Formwork Carpenters will take part in constructing a recent maintenance structure while working on major industrial and roadwork projects. Candidates with apprentice or journeyman experience are welcome. Proficiency in blueprint interpretation and concrete forming techniques are vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and strip concrete forms
• Cut and measure materials as per specifications
• Collaborate with other carpenters on frameworks
• Prepare precise layouts from provided blueprints
• Uphold safety and environmental practices on site
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with formwork desired
• Availability to travel across various locations
• Reliable means of transportation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
