The Lake Joseph Club is searching for an Assistant Superintendent to support golf course management. This full time role emphasizes turf management, staff training, and adherence to safety protocols. You will actively maintain the course and facilities while ensuring optimal irrigation and pesticide application practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recommend daily golf course conditions to the Superintendent
• Enforce ClubLink's maintenance and safety policy standards
• Train staff on machinery operation and safety procedures
• Maintain facility equipment and property professionally
• Assist with pesticide and fertilizer management under IPM principles
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of formal turf management education
• Availability for discretionary hours daily
• Organized and energetic approach to responsibilities
• Valid Ontario Landscape Exterminators Licence
