As Assistant Director of Care, you will work closely with the Director of Care to provide strategic leadership and ensure the delivery of safe, culturally competent care. This role will require you to manage nursing staff and foster a positive, accountable work workplace. Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the nursing team in resident care delivery
• Facilitate compliance audits and corrective actions
• Develop clinical policies backed by evidence-informed practices




• Lead performance evaluations and educational initiatives
• Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety standards

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a valid certificate in Ontario
• Two years of managerial experience in long-term care
• Expertise in electronic health records systems
• Knowledge of InterRAI assessments is preferred
• Commitment to legislative compliance and residents' rights
