Become an Area Fire Manager with Manitoba Wildfire Service in Snow Lake, actively participating in wildfire management and preparedness. Lead operations and instill safety protocols during fire events.

As part of the Manitoba Wildfire Service, you will report to the Fire Operations Manager, responsible for managing all wildfire activities within assigned areas. This position requires comprehensive wildfire suppression experience and the ability to lead and develop teams effectively. Daily tasks include assessing conditions and executing operational plans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive wildfire management programs
• Supervise and lead the firefighting staff
• Manage logistics and resources during fire seasons
• Monitor and report on environmental conditions
• Partner with inter-agency firefighting organizations

Requirements:
• Diploma in Natural Resource Technology or equivalent experience
• Extensive wildfire coordination experience
• Effective project management capabilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence
