In this vital role within our accounting team, you will fully own assigned GL accounts, ensuring adherence to US GAAP while participating in month-end close processes such as journal entries and reconciliations. You will collaborate with the Accounting Manager for compliance with SOX and identify opportunities for process enhancement while contributing to the creation of standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy of assigned GL accounts and compliance
• Execute month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Maintain integrity of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Work with management to enhance accounting processes
• Assist in preparing SOPs for cross-training purposes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Advanced Excel capabilities and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
