The Hospital for Sick Children is looking for a Research Technologist I with a focus on genetics and genome biology. This temporary role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of lab experience, ideally in mouse research and tumor biology. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing research quality and laboratory efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct surgical procedures and manage mouse colonies
• Execute molecular and cellular biology experiments
• Ensure accurate documentation and troubleshooting
• Oversee experimental inventory and supply organization
• Collaborate and train fellow lab members
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in life sciences or related area
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the lab
• Experience in tumor biology and mouse handling preferable
• Solid organizational and communication abilities
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to research
