Role Overview
As an Oracle Cloud Administrator, you will play a key role in managing Oracle Cloud environments, ensuring platform availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with internal IT teams, system integrators, Oracle Support, and business stakeholders to maintain a reliable and scalable Oracle ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor Oracle cloud environment health, security, availability, and performance
Coordinate with IT and System Integrator (SI) teams to proactively resolve operational issues
Manage OCI administration, including users, roles, policies, IAM, and access controls
Review and maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls in alignment with security and audit requirements
Assess the impact of Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and updates on configurations and business processes
Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment activities for quarterly updates and patches
Track and manage Oracle Support Service Requests through successful resolution
Review release notes, patch updates, and deployment impacts to identify risks and conflicts
Ensure environment readiness for testing and release cycles, including refreshes, configurations, and test data management
Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational support processes
Respond to incidents and troubleshoot platform issues to ensure ongoing system stability
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , including:
IAM (Identity & Access Management)
Users, roles, policies, and access controls
Experience with:
OCI networking and connectivity
Security and environment management
Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
Certificates, keys/secrets, and secure connectivity
Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) environments
Proven experience managing Oracle Fusion quarterly updates and patches, including:
Release impact assessments
Testing coordination
Oracle Service Request management
Collaboration with Oracle Support and internal technical teams
Hands-on Oracle Fusion implementation experience, including actual system configuration and setup
Candidates must have built and configured Oracle Fusion environments, not solely integrated external systems with Fusion
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale Oracle Fusion implementations
OIC administration, integrations, connectivity, and environment refreshes
Experience working extensively with Oracle Support and Service Requests
Automation, scripting, and CI/CD experience

In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this prospect. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $52-$70/HR
