Join the Oneida Nation of the Thames as a Family Support Worker providing community-based services. Focus on prevention and support for children and families at risk or involved with Child Aid Society.

This role is essential for those with a Bachelor’s in Social Work or similar fields. You will operate from a strengths-based perspective, assisting families in building life skills and accessing needed services for safety and stability. Flexibility in work hours is crucial, as evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to children, youth, and families in need
• Collaborate with community partners and Child Aid Society
• Advocate for family preservation and child safety




• Help families identify needs and build resilience
• Offer culturally responsive services inline with Oneida practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field preferred
• Minimum two years in child welfare or social services
• Knowledge of Oneida culture essential
• Valid Class 'G' Ontario Driver’s License required
• Vulnerable Sector Check mandatory prior to hiring
