About The Role We are looking for aCommercial Insurance Advisorto join ourBook of Business Farm TeaminEdmonton, Albertaon a permanent full‑time basis.What You’ll Do HereService existing book of business (primarily Farm), with opportunity to grow and expandProvide customers with prompt service by providing advice, helping customers understand insurance, and discussing customer concernsReview and provide processing instructions on all incoming commercial paperworkAssist with quotes to customers, write recent business, review existing coverage, and update customer file informationPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificatesReview and provide processing instructions on endorsements, and follow up on paymentsCommunicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers’ behalf, negotiate renewal of terms,



and follow up with Adjusters on claims statusSource and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applicationsWhat You Bring To The TableTwo or more years of customer service experience3 to 5 years of insurance experienceAIC Insurance License is preferred or must be obtained upon hireExposure to EPIC is an assetProficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, OutlookExcellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolutionDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPay & IncentivesSalary Range: $48,300 – $59,100 (35‑hour week)Flexible work arrangementsMultiple benefits supporting physical and mental wellbeing, wellness
