Our Client is seeking an experienced UX Designer Intermediate to support the ONE Access Program.

This role combines UX/UI design with hands-on front-end development, taking concepts from wireframes and interactive prototypes through to responsive, accessible web interfaces.

The successful candidate must have a strong design portfolio and proven experience working with Adobe XD or similar prototyping tools, HTML, CSS/SASS, Java

Script, and Word

Press or comparable CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web applications.

Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and other UX design artifacts.

Translate UX designs and prototypes into functional interfaces using HTML, CSS/SASS, and Java

Script.

Develop reusable and responsive UI components for web applications.

Maintain and enhance existing web application interfaces, layouts, and content.

Support content updates using Word

Press or similar CMS platforms.

Ensure interfaces comply with responsive design, accessibility, usability, and web standards.

Apply WCAG accessibility best practices across web experiences.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams throughout the design lifecycle.

Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback, usability findings, and technical constraints.

Support cross-browser compatibility and web performance considerations.





Participate in Agile and/or Waterfall application delivery environments.

Maintain appropriate design and technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Mandatory Requirements 5+ years of relevant UX/UI design experience.

Proven experience designing UX interfaces for web applications.

Strong hands-on experience converting designs into HTML, CSS/SASS, and Java

Script.

Demonstrated experience with Adobe XD or similar wireframing/prototyping tools.

Experience maintaining and updating web applications, layouts, and content.

Experience using Word

Press or a similar CMS.

Strong understanding of responsive web design.

Strong understanding of accessible and user-centered design principles.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Solid communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions and technical constraints.

Nice to Have Experience with public-facing or enterprise web applications.

Ontario/public-sector experience.

Experience within healthcare, health IT, or regulated environments.

Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.

Strong knowledge of WCAG and accessibility standards.

Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and front-end performance optimization.
