Position Overview
Mercedes-Benz Langley is currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for promptly andcourteously assisting all service customers while ensuring accuracy in repairorder documentation, transparent communication regarding recommended services, andmaintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and labour sales. TheService Advisor plays an integral role in supporting service departmentoperations and delivering the exceptional customer experience that definesthe Dilawri Lifestyle.
The expected annual payfor this position is$80,000.00 - $110,000.00.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure high levels of customer satisfactionthroughout the service process.
Greet all clients promptly in a friendly,professional, and courteous manner.
Address customer concerns or misunderstandingswith tact and professionalism.
Conduct vehicle inspections and gather allnecessary information for repair orders.
Secure pre‑authorization for costs, confirmparts availability, and process payments.
Review all appointment files, scheduledmaintenance, and previous service recommendations.
Clearly explain recommended services or repairsto customers.
Monitor repair progress, check job status, andupdate customers accordingly.
Oversee repair orders from opening to closing toensure accuracy and completion.
Review CSI scores monthly and contribute tocontinuous improvement in performance.
Review loaner vehicle policies and warrantydetails with customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required
Strong customer service and communicationskills.
Ability to handle customer concerns withprofessionalism and tact.
Experience in automotive service environments isan asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability tomanage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to understand and explain technicalvehicle information.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency with computers and service-relatedsoftware is an asset.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
