This full-time role will place you at the forefront of promoting safety at Our Place Society. As the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, you will develop and enhance the OHS program and procedures, working closely with various stakeholders, including union representatives and WorkSafeBC. Your efforts will be critical in fostering a safe working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and enforce safety standards and regulations
• Provide comprehensive health and safety training to all employees
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and maintain records




• Regularly update safety processes and emergency preparedness
• Advise on safety trends, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or similar credentials
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the field
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 or higher certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a unionized workplace preferred
