Join Compass Group Canada as an Operating Engineer and help maintain essential plant operations. Your role will center on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety compliance.

In this position, you will be responsible for the safe operation of various facility equipment and the maintenance of accurate records. Your experience in handling HVAC and refrigeration systems will help minimize downtime, and you will be expected to follow safety regulations rigorously. You will also assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and operate necessary facility equipment
• Communicate engineering activities to the Facilities Manager
• Keep up-to-date maintenance records and work orders




• Ensure cleanliness and address safety issues promptly
• Support other trades as needed during shift

Requirements:
• Ontario 4th Class Operating Engineer Certificate required
• 2-5 years as an Operating Engineer in food manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience
• Relevant technical education preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts including overtime
