The Senior Manager, Creative & Communications is a high-impact leadership role designed for an ambitious creative leader and brand strategist looking to shape integrated marketing experiences at scale.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, Creative & Production, this role leads the cohesive delivery of our brand vision across creative advertising, public relations and experiential events.

This role drives an integrated, cross-agency ecosystem by centralizing strategic campaign briefs, empowering Agencies of Record (AORs) to operate in tandem under unified creative direction.

By aligning channel strategies into seamless, multi-touchpoint executions, the Senior Manager ensures every campaign delivers maximum commercial impact and brand resonance.

Championing brand excellence, the Senior Manager manages multi-million-dollar production portfolios, elevates evolving design systems, and leads campaign creative reviews from concept through delivery, blending visionary brand leadership with financial discipline to deliver best-in-class, industry-leading work.

Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy, Design Governance & Brand Leadership Brand & Design System Leadership: Set, champion, and enforce overall creative direction and brand standards across paid and earned touchpoints.

Lead the continued build-out and adoption of the brand''s design system.

Creative Concept-to-Execution: Guide external agency partners through end-to-end creative development, from brief and concept ideation through final delivery.

Critical Reviews & Brand Quality: Conduct rigorous creative reviews, delivering actionable feedback that elevates brand storytelling, ensures messaging consistency, and enforces communications objectives across national marketing, PR and experiential campaigns.

Testing & Innovation: Nurture a culture of creative experimentation, agile content testing, and AI-assisted workflow integration to optimize production efficiency and drive creative performance.





Agency Governance & Financial Stewardship AOR Relationship Management: Serve as the primary relationship owner for external AORs spanning Creative Advertising, Public Relations, and Experiential Events.

Lead high-level contract negotiations, establish performance metrics, and conduct critical reviews to drive best-in-class agency output and operational efficiencies.

Annual Strategy & Integration: Develop, implement, and lead annual strategies for PR and experiential marketing teams, ensuring alignment with overarching divisional priorities and business objectives.

Budget Management: Oversee, forecast, and optimize significant production budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution, contract compliance, and resource allocation across major enterprise campaigns.

Governance & Performance: Centralize and integrate workflows between digital production, PR, and experiential streams to dismantle silos, reduce production redundancies, and improve overall output quality and speed-to-market.

Team Management & Operational Excellence People Leadership: Supervise and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of managers and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and talent development. US Integration & Asset Scaling: Partner with US-based counterparts to identify synergies, share campaign assets, and adopt scalable templates or workflows where appropriate. PMO Leadership & Methodology: Provide strategic direction to the PMO function, ensuring the enforcement of robust project management methodologies tailored for complex creative and communications matrixes.

Portfolio Health & Risk Mitigation: Monitor overall project health, optimize resourcing, and mitigate risks impacting project timelines or budgets.

Direct Manager / Direct Reports: Reports To: Marketing Director, Creative & Production Direct Reports: Manager, Digital Production (and associated teams); Manager, Public Relations & Experiential Marketing (and associated teams); Senior Project Specialist, PMO Travel Requirements: 520% overnight travel (for events, production shoots, and cross-functional collaboration) Physical Requirements: Extended computer work; ability to stand for long periods of time during events, shoots etc.

Location Onsite 5 days per week Working Conditions: Indoor office environment; occasional visits to stores, distribution centers / warehouses, and production locations as required Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree (BA) or equivalent in a related field Minimum Years of Work Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, creative production, public relations, or agency account management Minimum Leadership Experience: 3+ years of direct people management experience, specifically leading other managers or multi-layered team structures Certifications: None required; certifications in project management, creative software, or production management are considered assets Other Requirements/Assets: Proven experience leading and influencing both internal and external teams Experience with vendor and agency management, budget oversight, and process optimization Knowledge of Canadian retail and marketing landscape Retail experience is highly valued Portfolio demonstrating strong creative, branding, and storytelling abilities across consumer touchpoints Bilingual (English/French) is an asset The pay range for this position is between $88,700.00 - $107,300.00
