Job Description
We are seeking a Site Director, Manufacturing to lead the day-to-day operations and continued development of a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Etobicoke.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical manufacturing executive who can deliver immediate operational impact while demonstrating the breadth, business perspective, and leadership maturity required to progress into broader VP-level responsibility.

The successful candidate will be expected to learn the business quickly, establish credibility across the organization, and demonstrate readiness to assume increased enterprise-level scope within approximately six months.

The ideal candidate may currently be a VP at a smaller pharmaceutical company or a senior site leader with experience operating at comparable scale and complexity.

They will bring a broad understanding of how the business operates beyond a single functional area, along with experience across production, packaging, production support, people leadership, budgeting, safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree or a related discipline; education in science or engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Deep experience in solid-dose pharmaceutical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Five to eight years of management or senior leadership experience, ideally with VP-level scope or comparable accountability.
• Demonstrated experience leading a pharmaceutical manufacturing site or large, complex production operation.
• Experience in a site of at least approximately 200–300 employees; experience leading a larger site is preferred.
• Experience with full site-level budget, headcount, and personnel management.
• Experience managing a minimum budget scope of approximately $30 million.
• Experience with procurement, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing and plant-service equipment.




• Experience with FDA and Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate inspections.
• Experience working across Production, Packaging, QA/QC, Engineering, Facilities, Planning, and Supply Chain.
• A track record of improving site reliability, productivity, cost, quality, or operational stability.
• Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to understand and influence the broader operation beyond a single functional area.
• The ability to step into a senior leadership mandate and deliver impact without requiring several years of development before taking on broader responsibility.

• Ready to contribute immediately and demonstrate the capability to assume broader VP-level responsibility on an accelerated timeline.
