**Job Title: Warehouse Operator**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on efficiently handling warehouse operations, including picking, packing, consolidating, sorting, palletizing, and receiving products.

You will operate material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stage pallets, while maintaining accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems.

The position requires strong attention to detail, secure equipment operation, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
**Responsibilities**
Pick, pack, consolidate, sort, and palletize products according to established procedures and quality standards.

Receive incoming products and verify quantities and item accuracy against documentation.

Load and unload pallets from trailers and other transport vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Transport and stage pallets in designated storage locations within the warehouse.

Maintain proper product rotation to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce product aging or damage.

Follow inventory control procedures to track, store, and handle products correctly.

Scan and update product movement using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.

Use pump trucks and related equipment to move pallets and materials throughout the facility.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and resolve issues.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe warehouse operations.

Stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods to complete daily warehouse tasks.

Lift and handle items up to 50 lbs as part of routine material handling activities.
**Essential Skills**
At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.

Proficiency using RF scanners to track and update product movement.

Experience using pump trucks to move pallets and materials.

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Basic familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar inventory tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling products and documentation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.

Comfort working with technology-based tools such as handheld scanners and inventory systems.

Reliability and punctuality, particularly for afternoon and evening shifts.

Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

**Work Environment**
This position operates in a busy warehouse environment with regular use of forklifts, pump trucks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.

The role involves frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.

The standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., providing a consistent afternoon and evening shift.

The facility focuses on safety, organization, and efficient material handling in a fast-paced setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
