**Heavy Equipment Technician**

**Pay:**
$45 to $55 per hour
**Schedule:**
Monday to Friday, Day Shift (6:00 AM to 7:00 AM start)
**About the Role**
We are recruiting a Heavy Equipment Technician for a well-established company specializing in the repair, rebuild, and remanufacturing of off-highway powertrain components and heavy equipment.

This is a hands-on position focused on diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and testing transmissions, drivetrains, and other mechanical components for heavy equipment and marine applications.
**Responsibilities**
Teardown, inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and powertrain components.

Rebuild transmissions, gearboxes, axles, and related drivetrain systems.

Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis on mechanical equipment.

Read and interpret service manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Conduct testing to ensure repairs meet quality standards.

Complete occasional field service work for breakdowns and marine equipment repairs.
**Requirements**
Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Preferred
Open to 3rd or 4th year HET or HD Mechanics
Ability to read assembly manuals, drawings, and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and are skilled in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and basic hydraulic/electrical principles
Are you able to work independently with minimal or no guidance
Ability to stand consecutive for 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs
Reliable transportation
**Nice to Have**
Red Seal certification or apprenticeship experience.

Marine technician experience
Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting experience.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.





Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
