**Job Description:**
**Responsibility of Role**
Reporting to the Senior Manager, BI&T;, this role serves as a Technical SME responsible for leading a team of developers (~5-6 colleagues), delivering automation and modernization initiatives, managing EUCs, evaluating emerging technologies, and implementing solutions that drive operational efficiency and transformation across Wealth Operations.
**Team:**
Lead and develop a team of 5-6 resources, providing technical leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Align team objectives and priorities with Wealth Operations and OpX strategic goals.
Build team capabilities to meet evolving business, technology, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support colleagues' growth and development while ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes.
**Depth and Scope:**
Lead the delivery of automation and modernization initiatives using strategic technologies such as Python, Databricks, Power Platform, and other approved tools. VBA knowledge is required to support some existing automation assets.
Define target-state solutions, and implementation strategies to support business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and improve delivery processes, including intake management, SLAs, project reporting, and EUC/Automation Assets oversight.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, manage timelines, and deliver effective automation solutions.
Manage project delivery, capacity, stakeholder expectations, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
Establish and promote best practices, standards, documentation, and governance frameworks to support sustainable and scalable solutions.
Maintain a strong risk and control environment, leading remediation efforts related to governance, compliance, regulatory, and operational issues.
Provide technical, analytical, and data visualization expertise while monitoring emerging technologies and industry trends.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture within the Operational Excellence team.
**Qualifications, Skills, Experience**
5+ years of experience in technology, analytics, automation, or business transformation.
Proficiency with tools such as Python, Databricks, Power Platform, Power BI, and Alteryx.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Proven ability to lead initiatives independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage stakeholder relationships.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
People Management Experience preferred.
University degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technology).
