**Job Title: Framer**
**Job Description**
As a Framer, you will be responsible for the full assembly of construction modular units within our facility.

The units vary in size and are built from scratch, requiring your expertise in assembling and moving them to different departments as needed.

You will collaborate with team members to complete these assemblies, utilizing various hand and power tools and interpreting basic drawings.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble construction modular units from scratch within the facility.

Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.

Utilize hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, and screwdrivers.

Read and interpret basic construction drawings.

Perform layout tasks and ensure accurate measurements using a tape measure.
**Essential Skills**
2+ years of experience in renovations, specifically carpentry and framing.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and layouts.

Experience with construction techniques including framing, drywall, sheet metal, carpentry, and plumbing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience working at heights.

General construction experience.

Any related schooling or trades experience.

**Work Environment**
The work is primarily conducted indoors within a bay, with occasional outdoor tasks to gather materials.

The day shift typically runs from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional weekend work if desired.

Currently, the team consists of 40-45 people, with plans to expand to 60-75 by the end of the summer.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors,



including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Midland,ON.
