Delirium Prevention Coordinator
**Position Overview**
The
**Delirium Prevention Coordinator**
is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the Delirium (Dydel) Cart to support delirium prevention and management.

Working closely with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary clinical team, this role delivers best practice delirium care through staff education and patient centered care.
**Key Responsibilities**
Conduct regular checks of cart inventory and usage, restocking and organizing cart supplies as needed (comfort items, sensory aids, and patient resources
Ensure cart supplies and equipment are clean, functional, and accessible
Track utilization information and identify supply needs or areas for improvement
Provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams on delirium prevention and effective use of Delirium Cart resources
Help staff, volunteers, patients, and families locate Cart resources as needed
Share evidence-based practices and updates related to delirium care
Facilitate use of “All About Me” or similar personalization tools
Communicate supply needs,



concerns, or improvement needs
Encourage family participation in reorientation and cognitive support
Work respectfully with volunteers, nursing staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
**Essential Requirements:**
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to follow instructions, routines, safety and confidentiality expectations
Strong communication and teaching abilities
**Preferred Assets:**
Solid attention to detail when organizing, tracking, and restocking supplies
Ability to work independently with support
Organizational and leadership skills
Interest or experience in providing patient centered care
**Compensation** : $17.95/hr
