This is an opportunity to be part of a team that applies its experience, expertise, and knowledge in meeting the complex demands of Environmental Development and Qualification testing for commercial and military aerospace programs.
The work is very hands-on, the culture is fast paced, challenging, and supportive; you will be responsible for maintaining the high professional standards and exceptional reputation of the Toronto Engineering Labs.
**Responsibilities**
Efficiently execute test programs to well defined test procedures following test standards such as DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, with great attention to detail and a focus on process adherence and high-quality test data
Act as lab focal for assigned development and qualification test programs, owning all aspects of testing, including execution, data analysis, communication with other Engineering groups, and maintaining adherence to schedule and test scope
Physical aspects include installing and commissioning test setups that include setup & verification of custom test equipment in EMI chambers and their test stands
Troubleshoot test equipment and setup issues, and collaborate with Test and Electrical Engineers to investigate and solve test failures, and provide input to a Failure Review Board
Carry out EMC Test to defined procedures, perform functional validation on test articles, and data collection and analysis to confirm test requirements are met
Manage outsourced test vendors, which sometimes includes on-site testing at the vendor's location
Actively pursue cost savings through improving process efficiencies, test automation,
streamlining data processing tasks
Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours to support test and schedule requirements
**The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment.
Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.**
**YOU MUST HAVE**
A degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering or a related field and some relevant experience
The ability to quickly understand new concepts and implement them in real-world test scenarios
An understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) measurement tools is not required but would be a definite asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Outlook) tools is required
Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours to support test and schedule requirements

The annual base salary for this position starts at $80,000.
