The Conversion Maintenance staff report to the Operations Manager but are under direction from the Building Attendants when required.

This is a labour position intended to assist in the facility operations and maintenance of the Arena facilities by assisting in Conversions from Hockey to Concerts, Trade Shows, Basketball etc safely adhere to the TD Station JHSC mandates and WorksafeNB guidelines.

To perform assigned tasks primarily but not limited to converting the Facility, it's equipment for the various events and other duties as required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.90 CAD (per CBA).

Painting, Boom Spraying, installing hockey boards, glass and netting, building stages

Assisting in the maintenance of equipment as required.

Operate power tools and cleaning and safety equipment

Operate all the components of the Facility fleet: and/or specialized equipment such as edger, ride on Scrubber, Bobcat, etc if needed

If Certified, safely operate Forklifts for shipping / receiving, moving items essential to conversions, elevating staff in Man Cage or moving items around the property as required.

May also include Production or Convention equipment if needed.

Effectively fill in operators logs as required

Perform any duties required for set up and tear down of Trade Shows,



Concerts and other special events.

Snow and Ice removal, Ice surface maintenance, assist Hockey Ice Maintenance staff, BA Helpers call for Ice Rentals, General Cleaning related to conversions, rentals and the Arena Level

Perform general cleaning/maintenance (i.e. mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, washroom/dressing room cleaning, snow shoveling, garbage pick-up, painting, waxing floors, scrubbing walls, etc.) in accordance with the daily and spring/summer housekeeping schedule

Provide functional supervision to part time staff while on duty, delegate and assign job duties, and assist with training

Assist with ice removal and installation including leveling and painting ice surface

Other duties as assigned

Highschool diploma

Must be 18 years or over

Any labour experience is an asset

Ability to work flexible schedule dictated by events, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed

Ability to follow basic instruction and direction

Ability to perform general labour; heavy lifting as required
