Natural Forces Solar is looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the design of solar PV and BESS projects. This role focuses on delivering exceptional engineering solutions throughout project phases, from design through to commissioning.

You will take ownership of the design process, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all projects meet required technical standards and regulatory guidelines. With over 6 years of experience, you will guide junior design engineers, manage power system studies, and serve as a technical liaison with utilities like Nova Scotia Power.

Your role is vital in enhancing team capabilities and maintaining high-quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage design workflow for solar PV and battery projects
- Drive and review power system studies in design phase




- Guide technical interconnections with industry utilities
- Lead equipment specification and procurement processes
- Provide construction support including site reviews and RFIs

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical design
- Registered or eligible for licensure as P. Eng
- Familiar with electrical codes and utility interconnection
- Experience with software tools for power system analysis
