Role: Data Engineer

Requirements:

- Data engineering and pipelines: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, notebook development, enterprise data integration, pipeline orchestration, and cloud-based analytics architectures.

- SQL and data modelling: Proficiency in data transformation, dimensional models, KPI implementation, curated datasets, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Python-based development: Utilization of Python for data processing, workflow automation, validation, quality controls, and operational data engineering.

- Reporting and governance enablement: Support for Power BI semantic models, curated datasets, data governance, lineage, operational documentation, and reliable and auditable data operations.

- Strategic fit: Alignment with enterprise reporting modernization, Microsoft Fabric expansion, and stronger data governance and analytics capabilities.
- Proven experience in data engineering, including pipeline development, enterprise integration, and cloud-based analytics architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, and notebook development.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation techniques, dimensional modelling, and performance optimization for analytical datasets.




- Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, automation, and quality assurance activities.
- Experience supporting Power BI environments, including semantic models, curated datasets, and reporting data structures.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, including lineage, documentation, and controlled data operations.
- Familiarity with modern data technologies such as SQL Server, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem tools, or AWS-based services is considered an asset.
