Our Penticton branch operates as a dedicated team of 3 to 4 people. Our Ideal Candidate

Bobcat of Penticton is looking for a proactive individual to join our team as Parts & Service Advisor. Our ideal candidate is self motivated, interested in supporting our local community, and finds ways to improve our branch operations during quiet periods. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in parts catalog systems and inventory management, ideally in the construction equipment field.

The Role

As our Parts & Service Advisor, you are the central hub connecting our customers, service, parts, and sales divisions. You will manage inventory flow, coordinate equipment rentals, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities Include

· Greet customers via phone, email, and in-person to source parts and process work orders in a timely manner.

· Order and receive parts into inventory, maintaining an accurate parts warehouse and service department.

· Issue purchase orders, order shop supplies, and manage internal repair workflows.

· Manage rental department logistics including bookings,



transportation, and maintenance.

· Organize merchandise and modify displays to reflect current sales and promotions.

· Maintain cleanliness of workstation, lobby and customer facing areas.

· Promote teamwork between departments

· Assist with inventory counts, vendor returns and preparing machinery for delivery.

· Cultivate professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, participating in local networking functions, and renewing certifications as required.

Qualifications

· Upbeat and positive.

· Able to problem solve with confidence in a timely manner.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be highly organized, manage time well, and have a strong attention to detail with consistent customer focus.

· Invested in gaining working knowledge of all equipment available in each of our locations.

· Experience researching parts for various equipment types and manufacturers.

· Productive, organized and responsible use of email and computer filing systems.

· Effective use of vendor and industry websites for product sourcing and cataloging.

· Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft office Suite, Teams, and Point of Sales systems.

· Ability to operate forklift, skid steer and excavator an asset.
